On October 25th, 2011 Jūrmala City Council in cooperation with the airline "airBaltic" will hold a health tourism workshop in Tel Aviv.Jūrmala tourism workshop will be opened by the Latvian Ambassador to Israel Mārtiņš Perts and the chairman of Jūrmala City Council Mr. Gatis Truksnis.

For the first time Jūrmala city council together with the resort hotel ”Baltic Beach Hotel” and representation of the Tourism Development State Agency in Scandinavian countries will participate in the biggest health fair in Finland – „Terveys” that takes place from the 21st to 23rd of October 2011. This is one of the most important health fairs emphasizing offers for autumn and winter, and attracts considerable amount of health care and tourism professionals, as well as potential visitors of Jūrmala city.
